little round things

I have had the creative itch lately. Still of course knitting but having a lot of fun with other projects. These paper globes are hanging all over the house and I love them! They are so fun and easy to make. I also found this great pattern for little jingle balls with a draw string bag which we will give to our friends Trey and Suzanne who just had a little girl yesterday. They named her Lucy...which of course i am impartial too! Welcome Lucy Walker.

playdough and connectagons

Ryan and Cole are loving their new gifts. Yesterday Cole attempted to make a dinosaur out of connectagons (one of my favorites from this year) and Ryan made me a decadent desert of chocolate cake served with vanilla, strawberry and chocolate sauces out of her new play dough set...Vesta, here she comes!

A Snowy Christmas

We woke up on Christmas morning to a blanket - almost a foot- of white snow...what a beautiful sight. It was a perfect first Christmas in the new house.

Christmas in Michigan

The day after we traveled to Michigan to celebrate Christmas there. It was so wonderful to see the family...especially the newest member Oliver. We indulged in deliciously eating and drinking too much, staying up late and playing games, skiing and sledding in the Michigan snow and just being together. I couldn't have asked for a better trip. Thanks Mom and Dad.
