harvest week

Last year we had the pleasure of attending the harvest week brunch...it was amazing food and in a beautiful space, an urban farm, The Grow Haus.  All we could talk about was how much Ryan would love this, so this year she came with. We have always been so proud of our brave and adventurous  food eater and this was no exception.  So proud to be this little girls mama and have a morning with her and Jeff. Such a special treat.

a garden walk

A few weeks ago we took advantage of a gorgeous Sunday to take a walk through the gardens. It was amazing how much color there still was...an inspiration for fall gardening. So many ideas!

best game EVER!

Cole was over the moon when his team...the wild coyotes, were invited to play during half time of the Denver University Pioneers soccer game. Not only did the kids get to see great soccer in action, they got to play on the big field, under the lights with a huge crowd cheering them on. I have never see Cole filled with more excitement and adrenaline. So fun to watch!

We made a quick trip to Albuquerque to visit with family and go to the balloon fiesta...

Amazing as usual...We will never get tired of seeing the balloons.

They really are magical.

the colors are a changin'

The kids and I got out of town for a much needed slow down and to catch a glimpse of fall in the mountains. The Quakies were in full change...beautiful and vibrant.

 The kids got some great fort building time...

 and a few soaks in the the tub.

a little fun

We took a few minutes after Ryan's swim team practice for a little diving board fun. I was trying to take the video of Cole jumping off the high dive for the first time and realized I got two for one!
