Happy Girl

I could not be a happier girl right now...I got to take my dad to Red Rocks to see Jason Isbell this week. I have always shared my love of live music with my dad and have always dreamed of taking him to Red Rocks (arguably the best live music venue). Well, it happened. The music was amazing, the weather was perfect and the company was the best.

Colorado Trail Adventure

Whirl wind

The end of our summer was full of snuggles and the kids went to sleep away camp for a week. We enjoyed Red Rocks via The Avett Brothers and Yoga with Franti.  Now I am full swing in my 3rd grade classroom and we have a middle school-er and freshman just starting out. What a summer it has been. Filled me to the brim.

South Dakota

A quick road trip to south Dakota to meet up with the Wisconsin crew... included - Wind caves, Mount Rushmore, and the Badlands. Sightings of bison, prairie dog towns, big horned sheep and peacocks! We spent our days hiking, scrambling, trying to stay cool in the heat. The trip ended with a small town rodeo in Interior, SD (pop. 67) where Grace found her cow girl calling. Loved being a piece of their big adventure.

Michigan

Thank you to my mum and dad for an amazing vacation...the water, hikes and company did not disappoint. Til next summer...pure Michigan
