With the entire family coming down with the flu...it has been a few rough weeks. We have been doing a whole lot of resting and re-cooperating which means there has been quite a bit of crafting going on. Here are a few of your projects completed in between naps. 

We are on the mend and ready to feel back to normal...but the "forced" time together and slow down was not so bad.

What a great day...

for a swim meet

  and a bit of target practice.

Ryan participated in her second meet this weekend. She had a "tough" day yesterday with the dreaded butterfly (which she does better than me!) and a great day today shaving off 9 seconds her 50 backstroke and 10 seconds off her 100 freestyle. So fun to see her swim and even more fun  to see her smile and have fun.

Cole got his first target practice with his bow and arrow he got for Christmas. He had some success with hitting the target but as you can see...no holes in the red bulls eye! The thanks you's and pure excitement was  the best part of my day.

Love these two and had a great two weeks vacation with them.

chapter 9

 When Ryan really got into her last book she was reading she asked if she could make some of the recipes when she was finished. That time came and first pick was chapter 9...chocolate fudge brownie cupcakes with coffee icing (her own idea...vanilla seems boring!)

She gathered the ingredients...followed the recipe and we all got to reap the benefits!

Thumbs up for chapter 9...bring on more chapters!
