big boy

Cole finally had his highly anticipated 3rd birthday day. He is now "really big" as he would say. We spent the day with the family eating chocolate cupcakes and riding his new bike...in the house, in the garage and down the street.it was such a nice day. Now starts the countdown to Ryan's birthday... 2 weeks!

A tribute to being 2

Cole is turning 3 on Saturday so I thought I would pay tribute to 2 year olds...

-they still let their mom and dad do whatever they want with their hair

-playing in the backyard with yellow boots and no pants is just another day

-even boys still love their baby doll and name them harry

-and they scare their moms to death with their never ending new "tricks"

I will be sad to say goodbye to 2.

I thought I would post this picture because it doesn't happen very often that they are all in the same place at the same time with a camera handy. I honestly only had to make Sequoia join the group...the rest were hanging out together already. I still can't believe sometimes that I have 4 "kids" all under the age of four - they keep me on my toes.

hair everywhere!

This week had been very interesting and full of photo opportunities. Earlier in the week Ryan's school had crazy hair day and this is what she and Jeff came up with. Certainly crazy and she acted the part that day.
Then today is the much anticipated annual Vesta mustache contest. Jeff has been growing his since Christmas and neither the kids nor I will be sad when it's over. The kids hardly what to kiss him anymore because it's so tickly they say and as for me...well, I think it's just a little creepy! Looking forward to tomorrow when it all gets shaved away...yea.
