One last time
The family took a quick last camping trip before the summer is over for me. I go back to school tomorrow. What an amazing summer it has been. Great trips, family visits, two wrist surgeries, and a lot of pool time.
Happy rest of the summer to you all!

mornings
One of my favorite things to do in the morning is walk around the garden with the family and my cup of coffee and discover what is ready to be picked. Today we got our first Dragon Tongue beans, compliments of Troy Gardens (thanks Jake and Kat).

Now let's hope Cole eats them!

What a peaceful way to spend the first waking moments of the day.
Happy Gardening.

Leonard is our man...
My mom flew in this week go to a Leonard Cohen concert at red rocks. We were on top of the world. He played a 3 1/2 hour show with an encore that lasted almost an hour. It was one of the most memorable moments I have ever had with my mom.

Of course there were a few other bonuses from the quick trip.

Thank you mom...see you in a few weeks!

Albuquerque
We had a wonderful week in Albuquerque with Jeff's Family.

::Anita had all of her grand kids together.

::The cousins had an endless amount of fun.

::We got another famous rocking chair picture.

::Nema NEVER said "no!"

::I danced with my little girl at a cousin's wedding.
An amazing and memorable trip.
